Eternity! You have to meet it! Where will you spend it?

Don't be deceived any longer into thinking you are a good
person. Society, the media, education, paints the picture
which everybody believes, that there are good people and
bad people, that there are innocent and guilty peole.

Don't be deceived, God says, (Ecc 7v20) there is not a just
man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sin not. ( Rom
3v23) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of
God.

God is a Holy God who cannot look upom any sin. You see
friend, God's good is not our good; God's good is absolute
operfection. and none of us measure up.

Don't be deceived into thinking that because God is a loving
God, that He will not judge and condemn you. It's because
God is a loving God He must judge you justly or He wounld
not be a just and a loving God.

Youu are thinking to yourself, that's not Good News, that's a
pretty bleak picture. Dear friend, that right, it's a serious
and fearful place to be in.

                            Your sin = guilt; and
Guilt = separation from God in heaven; and
                           Separation from God = Hell.

It sounds terrible, ït is", Hell is real and forever is a long time.

"But"  Dear sinner friend, God in His mercy, into that helpless
place you are in, God sent the "Son". John 3v16 For God
so loved the world, that, He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but
have everlashing life.

God sent a substitute, a saviour, the only one who is
perfect and without sin. His name is Jesus Christ. ( II Cor 5v21).
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no
sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in
Him.

You see dear sinner friend, he took your sin and all you
ever did and placed it upon Jesus and He died in your place
instead. (Rom 6v23) The wages of sin is death but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You see someone had to die for sin and bloodhad to be
shed to reconcile us to God. (Heb 9v22) and without the
shedding of blood there is no remission (forgiveness).

God took that perfect life that Jesus Christ had lived, the only
good person, and credited it to the sinner.

The sinful life I lived God gave it to Jesus and the perfect life
that jesus lived, God gave to me.

               Because the sinless Saviour died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the just is satisfied
to look in him and pardon me.

Dear sinner friend that's Good news, that's unmerited
favor.

If God is speaking to and dealing with you, if this true
knowledge of your sin before a Holy God is weighing heavy
on your heart.

Don't be deceived for a minutelonger that you are a good
person. Cry out from the depths of your heart to jesus:
"Lord have mercy on me a sinner"

Medical theories on the cause of death in crucifixion Matthew W Maslen and Piers D Mitchell

INTRODUCTION Crucifixion may be defined as a method of execution by which a person is hanged, usually by their arms, from a cross or similar structure until dead. It has been used in many parts of the world and in many time periods; but is perhaps best known today as a cruel method of social control and punishment in the Roman Empire around 2000 years ago 1 (pp 22-3). In modern times, the medical profession has shown considerable interest in crucifixion. The typical aim of articles by this group has been to determine how crucified individuals actually died; and they often focus on the case of Jesus of Nazareth. Since Stroud's book of 1847, 2 at least 10 different theories have been proposed ( Table 1 ), and many more articles have been published suggesting various combinations of these theories. The 10 examples referenced in Table 1 have been chosen merely as representing the wide difference of opinion in the published literature: it is not an exhaustive lis

What is TULIP in Calvinism? by Matt Slick

The TULIP of Calvinism is the acronym which represents the five primary points which represent Calvinism : Total depravity, Unconditional election, Limited atonement, Irresistible grace, and Perseverance of the saints. Hence, they are called the five points of Calvinism. The five points "emerged from the Synod of Dort (1618– 19)." 1 "The system of Calvinism adheres to a very high view of scripture and seeks to derive its theological formulations based solely on God’s word. It focuses on God’s sovereignty, stating that God is able and willing by virtue of his omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence, to do whatever He desires with His creation. It also maintains that within the Bible are the following teachings: That God, by His sovereign grace predestines people into salvation; that Jesus died only for those predestined; that God regenerates the individual where he is then able and wants to c
