Who is Jesus Christ? By Dr. Steven J. Lawson

               We come now to the time to look together into the word of God. I invite you to take your Bibles and turn with me to the book of Colossians, Colossians 1, and before we step back into our ongoing series on the Gospel of Mark, I want to follow-up last week's message in which we talked about is the Bible just another book, which was a very basic, elementary, foundational, entry level type of message. I want to follow that up and I want to bring a message to you this morning that also is very foundational, very essential for our Christian faith at the most basic point. I want to speak to you this morning on who is Jesus Christ. Colossians 1, I want to begin reading in verse 15. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for H
