Luke 9v23. And He said to them “If any man will come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me”. Fear seems to be the greatest hindrance to evangelism, as were the disciples after the resurrection as John tells us in chapter 20v19 “Now they were in hiding in fear behind closed, locked doors”. Jesus himself comes and ministers peace to the disciples, it is only the presence of Jesus that removes the fear, and causes us to begin to trust And obey his word when he said in Matthew 28v20 “And lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. Jesus promised to give His peace as we obey Him in Soul Winning. The plan of Jesus gives confidence for soul-winning as is Recorded in the Great Commission Matthew 28v19-20; Mark Luke, John, and in the Acts of the apostles.
