The King James Bible

By David J. Stewart God Promised to Preserve His Word When someone asks me if I use the King James Bible, I always say, “what other version is there?” As far as I’m concerned, the King James Bible is the Book for me, there are no other Bibles. I don’t like to call the King James Bible a version, I call it the “King James Bible.” God did NOT write several versions and did NOT promise to preserve several versions. No, God authored ONE book and promised in Psalm 12:6,7 to preserve it forever. “The WORDS OF THE LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt PRESERVE them from this generation FOREVER.” As silver “purified seven times”, that’s how pure God’s Word is. Don’t tell me that God Who had the power to speak the world into existence isn’t powerful enough to preserve his Word. All Modern Bible Versions are Corrupted Scriptures are clear that God is NOT a God of confusion. “For God is not the aut

Are You Really a Christian?

By David J. Stewart At no time in History has the terms “Christian”, “saved” and “born-again” been more misunderstood and misused than now. These terms have sadly become commonplace and are flippantly thrown around with little or no significance. Wicked people, living the most ungodly lives, can be heard professing to be born-again Christians. Pornography models and homosexuals claiming to be saved Christians while yet arrogantly living in their sins. There are even churches with Sodomite ministers and a Sodomite congregation. Surely, this is not acceptable to God in heaven. These are not true believers, though they may be sincere! Fortunately, a person who is living in such gross sin (and all sin is gross to God) can become saved. “Whosoever will” may come! “...and him that cometh to me I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT” (John 6:37). What a wonderful promise from Jesus Christ, our God and Savior! Anyone, no matter how deep they’ve gone into sin, can come to Christ for

Salvation Is Of The Heart

By David J. Stewart That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). Salvation is of the heart, NOT the mouth. I’ve actually heard radio preachers teach that a person needs to audibly profess Christ in order to be saved. Would you show me that in the Bible? On the contrary, we read the opposite in Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” We are NOT saved by saying certain magic words or by performing certain religious duties. The Scriptures are clear—we are saved by doing God’s will. These people in Matthew chapter seven were sincere I believe, they were religious no doubt. Let’s hear their testimony in Matthew 7:22, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in t
