John 15:1-10 Key Verse 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." In John 14, Jesus tries to comfort his disciples after revealing to them that he will soon be taken from them and suffer death on the cross. The disciples were troubled and worried about what their life would be like after Jesus was gone. In this chapter, Jesus uses a parable to help the disciples understand clearly their relationship with Jesus and how he would make them fruitful men of God. He wants to encourage them that there is no separation from Jesus but rather an intimate, personal relationship like that of a vine and its branches. Through this passage, I pray that God would encourage us to live fruitful lives by remaining in Jesus the true vine and to give glory to God. May God makes us fruitful in this coming fall semester. I. Jesus, the true vine (1-3) Look at verse 1. “I am th

Christ Died For Our Sins By David J. Stewart

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1st Corinthians 15:3,4). It is Jesus Christ who died on the cross for sinners, NOT mother Mary or Allah. Muslims don’t even believe that Jesus died on the cross yet deceitfully claim that we all worship the same God—NO WE DO NOT! Allah is a non-existent god. Allah is the god of people who know not the Lord. “Howbeit then, WHEN YE KNEW NOT GOD, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods” (Galatians 4:8). It is the unsaved who serve false and lifeless gods. Jesus Has the Scars The Scriptures proclaim that Jesus Christ died on the cross! Buddha CANNOT save your soul because Buddha did not die on the cross for you. Buddha does NOT have the nailed scarred hands that Jesus has. Jesus was nailed to the cross, not Buddha. Mary was NOT nailed to the cross f

If you should die today...................

If you cannot say you are certain that you will be with Jesus, He has provided a way for you.. 1 John 5:13 tells us that we can be sure if we have eternal life. You do not have to "hope" you'll make it to heaven. Death is certain to each of us. You must one day spend eternity in one of two places; either heaven or hell. (Matthew 25:46) Who needs to be saved? Everyone. The Bible tells us that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death. No one has the ability to remove that sin from our lives except Jesus Christ. This is the reason why He came and shed His blood on the cross, He died and then rose again on the third day so you and I may be forgiven and spend eternity in heaven with God. Salvation is God's free gift to you. But a gift is of no value to you until you accept it. If you would like to accept this free gift, You must realize that you are a sinner and therefore need a Savior. Repent of your sins and choose to turn away from t
